How does it feel to see the old year out, and the beginning of a new year? Maybe this year, the promises made to change yourself will be a true resolve, with no procrastinating. Why not start by memorizing this very short, simple little poem:
Procrastination is my sin…
It causes me endless sorrow…
But, I’ve made up my mind to quit…
And I will begin … tomorrow.
Well, as silly as that little poem seems, maybe it is more true than it should be. Especially, for most of you, as it relates to marriage.

It can be difficult to come up with gift ideas for loved ones. It is hard to come up with new ideas year after year that will be used and appreciated. The wow factor is always a plus, too.

Food gifts are very popular at Christmas, but it can be difficult for the recipients to get it all eaten before it goes bad. One solution is to give food that can be frozen and eaten at a later time. Two options are cookie dough and pie in jars.

Terri Cooper and her five children have developed a unique gift for their friends and relatives. Her family enjoys homemade pie, and has to make two to have enough for the whole family. Cooper sometimes makes a large pot of soup and freezes single servings to give to her family members.

I owned a T-shirt, purchased just for the fun of it, which read “you can either agree with me...or be wrong.” That message is often what really happens, and is one of the most difficult challenges married couples face — “knowing” you are correct when your spouse “knows” you are, in fact, incorrect.
