Bellarmine University recently announced the students named to its dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester. The dean’s list recognizes students who receive a grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale. The following local residents were named to the dean’s list:
Fisherville resident Leah Spears, a sophomore majoring in psychology, and a graduate of Spencer County High School;
Fisherville resident Sophia Kroon, a senior majoring in communication;

Aaron Ashley of Taylorsville was named to the Morehead State University dean’s list for the 2011 fall semester.
To be named to the list, a student must be enrolled on a full-time basis and achieve at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale for the current semester.

St. Catharine College recently announced the list of students who have achieved extraordinary academic success for the fall 2011 semester. The dean’s list includes all students who had a grade point average of 3.6 - 3.999. The following students were recognized for their academic acheivement:
Zachery Straton II of Fisherville
Tiffany Miles of Taylorsville
