    Ashley Nolan and Robert Thomas announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

    The bride-to-be is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and is employed at YH America in Versailles.
    The groom-to-be is a graduate of the Department of Criminal Justice at Eastern Kentucky University and is employed as a deputy with the Spencer County Sheriff’s Department.
    A wedding is planned for Sept. 22, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Old Union Holiness Church in London.
    All family and friends are invited to attend.

  • ANNIVERSARY: Ingrams celebrate 50 years of marriage

    Philip and Elaine Ingram will have their 50th wedding anniversary celebration on Sunday, Aug. 26, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Plum Creek Baptist Church.

  • Engagement: Waldridge, Yates plan October wedding

     

    Larry and Clara Waldridge of Lawrenceburg announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Cassandra Janette Waldridge, to Jon Wesley Yates, son of Terry and Jane Yates of Mount Eden.
    A wedding is planned for Oct. 6, 2012, at 5:30 p.m. at the Reynolds Farm in Shelbyville.

  • BIRTH: Ware family welcomes Leah Mae Lynn

    Aaron and Jamie Ware of Mount Eden announce the birth of their daughter, Leah Mae Lynn Ware, on June 23, 2012, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.

    She weighed 8 pounds and was 19 1/2 inches long.
    Her grandparents are Dean and Lisa Ware. Her great-grandparents are Maxie and Terry Ahearn.

  • ANNIVERSARY: Jewells to celebrate 50th anniversary

    The children of Carolyn and Jesse Jewell are hosting a ceremonial dinner to celebrate their parents’ 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday at 2 p.m. (CST).

  • WEDDING: Bingham, Napper married June 9

    Cindy Lou Bingham of Taylorsville, and Wesley Anderson Napper of Waterford, were married June 9, 2012, in Shelbyville surrounded by family and friends.

    Bingham is the daughter of Dennis and the late Judy McWherter of Taylorsville. Napper is the son of Mike and Gail Dennison of Louisville and Rick and Trisha Napper of Hanover, Ind.
    Bingham is employed as a retail manager at Walgreens and Napper is a teacher with the Spencer County School System.

  • BIRTH: Family welcomes baby Elmore

    Joey Elmore and Amy Banta of Bethlehem announce the birth of their son, Rylee Daniel Elmore, on Feb. 3, 2012, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. He weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19 1/4 inches long. His maternal grandmother is Mary Roberts of Bethlehem. His paternal grandparents are Joyce and Melvin Patterson of Harrisonville and Joseph Elmore of Louisville.

  • BIRTH: Cooks welcome baby Braxton

    Amy Nicolle and Charles Thomas Cook of Millersville, Mo., announce the birth of their son, Braxton Diesel Cook, on March 15, 2012.
    He weighed 7 pounds and was 19 3/4 inches long.
    His grandparents are Sharon Cook of Taylorsville, Chuck and Chrissy Cook of Shelbyville, and Roy and Robin White of Jackson, Mo.

  • ANNIVERSARY: Keelings celebrate 48th anniversary

    Evan and Donna Keeling celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary at their home on Burns Lane in the Little Union area. They were married in Livingston, Tenn., on March 7, 1964. They have three children, Timothy (Nina) Keeling, Amy (Charlie) Mattingly and Stephen (Stacy) Keeling; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. They are members of Little Union Baptist Church.
