One day last week I walked her wearing a t-shirt, a regular shirt, a sweater, a hooded sweatshirt, and a coat, gloves and a scarf. It almost takes me longer to get dressed than to take her for a walk.

  • COLUMN: Predicting the weather

What is it about the weather that so fascinates us? We talk about it, we watch the reports on TV, you probably even have a favorite weather reporter. And then we have The Weather Channel. Who would have dreamed that a channel devoted only to the weather could be so successful?

Verses 10-13 say, “This is what the Lord says: ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.’ ”
A wise person once told me that, “If you fail to plan…then you plan to fail.”
This is something worth thinking about. For example:
