I finished reading through the Old Testament. Even though I have read through it a few times before, this was a great experience. No matter how many times you read God’s word, every time you read God’s word it is a new experience.
When I grew up, I heard preachers preach that God is everywhere and that was hard for me to understand because I did not know God. Now that I have accepted him as my personal savior, it is easy for me to understand that God is everywhere.
David in Psalms 139 tells us where God was with him.

Luke 21:1-4 says: “And he looked up and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. And he said, of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all. For all these have in their abundance cast in unto their offerings of God but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.”
I looked mite up in the dictionary and it defined it as a coin of very small value or a very small sum of money.

Last night I woke up laughing from a dream.  What I remember most vividly is an out of place baby elephant sitting in a watering trough spraying water all over my poor wife. Thinking about it even now I can’t help but chuckle, but I don’t know if I could explain it fully.  You’d have to know about the little white bull and the muddy cowboy for it to make sense!

 When I was young, my parents insisted that I take art lessons, and I guess they stuck.  Not that I am a great artist, but I really enjoy art of all kinds.  One of my favorite things to do is to wander around an arts and crafts show and see all the amazing things people create.
