Despite loss, Lady Bears getting better


Despite a ten point loss to East Jessamine, Lady Bears’ Coach Brandy Scott said her Spencer County girls played perhaps their best game in the 79-67 decision.

“We played well on offense, defense, rebounding and fundamentals. “This was our best game thus far,” she said.

Alyssa Howie scored 24 for the Lady Bears, with Haylee Cox adding 15. Lauren Lambdin chipped in with 10, with Audrey Michels adding eight, Bailea Bryant scoring seven and Abby Myers scoring three.
