Local attorney Robert Coots is shown being sworn in as a special Supreme Court justice by Kentucky Supreme Court Chief Justice John D. Minton. Coots was appointed by Gov. Steve Beshear on Nov. 3, 2011, and sat as a member of the Supreme Court of Kentucky on Feb. 16, 2012, to hear and vote on one case. The case was completed with an opinion rendered Aug. 23, 2012. Finchville Ruritan plans community yard sale
The Finchville Ruritan Club will have a community yard sale Thursday through Saturday at the Finchville Community Center in Finchville, which is about four miles south on Ky. 55 South from the I-64 Taylorsville exit.
