The following citations were issued by the Taylorsville Police Department between March 15 and March 30:

Alexandria P. Brown, 20, of Creekview Estates Drive in Louisville, was cited March 15 for no registration plates.

Ruth A. Schultz, 18, of Schultz Road in Fisherville, was cited March 16 for no registration plates and failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, first offense.

Taylorsville Police issued the following citations from March 9-10:

Shawn P. Mooney, 34, of Savannah Court in Taylorsville, was cited March 9 for no registration plates, no registration receipt and failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance.

Kaylon J. Brewer, 19, of Bondville Road in Salvisa, was cited March 9 for disregarding a stop sign.

The following indictments were handed down by a Spencer County Grand Jury on Feb. 7, 2013:

Count 1: On or about Jan. 29, 2012, in Spencer County, Gary L. McGaughey, 55, of the 1700 block of Hickory Ridge Road, committed the offense of first-degree failure to comply with sex offender registry as a sex offender when he knowingly and unlawfully failed to verify his change of address.

The following cases were handed down by Judge Matthew Eckert in Spencer District Court March 8, 2013:

Misdemeanor:
Joshua M. Alexander (1980), illegal take/pursue deer/wild turkey, amended to KRS 150.025 vilation, guilty, $100 fine and court costs paid.

Richard Smith (1970), two counts of theft by deception to include cold checks under $500, guilty, 30 days jail to be served concurrently with other charges.
