The following cases were heard by Judge Donna Dutton in Spencer District Court on March 15:

Misdemeanor:
Thomas K. Husband (1980), make false statement to obtain increase of benefit over $100, amended to attempt to make false statement, guilty, 365 conditionally discharged for two years, $153 to be paid in installments/deferred payments, $916 restitution.

Perry W. Spaulding (1969), fourth-degree assault domestic violence no visible injury, guilty, 365 days concurrent with state time, $153 to be paid in installments/deferred payments.

The following property transfers are recorded in the Spencer County Clerk’s Office:

On Jan. 3, from Melvin Hume and Shirley Hume, 410 Washington Street, Taylorsville, to Duane P. Hume, 195 Walnut Lane, Taylorsville, a Lot 84 on the northeast corner of Main Cross and Garrard streets, as described in deed book 250, page 701, $1.

Taylorsville Police issued the following citations from March 1 through March 9:

Gary L. McGaughey, 55, of the 1700 block of Hickory Ridge in Mount Eden, was cited March 1 for speeding 16 mph over the limit, disregarding a stop sign, failure to or improper signal and failure to produce insurance card.

Linda M. Ballinger, 19, of Dorsey Lane in Louisville, was arrested March 1 for second-degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Misdemeanor:
Timonthy N. Schell (1957), resident fishing without a license/permit, guilty, $203 in court costs and fines to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Candace Nicole Rogers (1991), resisting arrest, guilty, sentenced to 90 days conditionally discharged for two years, Kentucky Alternative Program, $153 in court costs to be paid in installments/deferred payment.
