  • PUBLIC RECORD: May 10 indictments

    The following indictments were handed down by a Spencer County Grand Jury on May 10, 2012:

    Counts 1-9: On or about March 6, 2012, in Spencer County, Mark A. Chesser, of the 1300 block of Cooks Lane, committed possession of a firearm by a convicted felon when he, having been convicted of a felony, possessed, manufactured or transported a firearm.

    Hubert R. Cornett (1985), resisting arrest, guilty, sentenced to 365 days conditionally discharged for two years, 44 days credit for time served, $153 court cost, Commonwealth agrees not to revoke on prior case.

    Thomas C. Crain (1951), operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs first offense, guilty, sentenced to 30 days conditionally discharged for two years, $728 fine paid, 30 days suspended operators license, alcohol and drug education program.
