    The following indictment was handed down by a Spencer County Grand Jury  Dec. 20 in Spencer Circuit Court:

    Dana M. Ingram, of the 200 block of Evelyn Drive, Taylorsville, on or about May 7, 2012, in Spencer County, committed the offense of forgery of a prescription for a controlled substance, when, with the intent to defraud, deceive, or injure another, she falsely made, completed, or altered a written instrument which is or purports to be or which is calculated to become or to represent a prescription for a controlled substance when completed.

    Taylorsville Police citations from Jan. 14 through Jan. 16:

    Mary L. Barnett, 45, of the 400 block of Washington Street, was cited Jan. 14 for no registration plates and failure to notify address change to Department of Transportation.

    Chaisty B. Nevitt, 37, of the 200 block of Jewell Vally Road, was cited Jan. 14 for operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked operator’s license.

    Joseph A. Loosvelt, 55, of the 700 block of Normandy Station Road, was cited Jan. 18 for speeding 24 mph over the limit.

    William K. Atteberry (1994), speeding 15 miles over the legal limit, guilty, state traffic school, $168 in court costs/fines paid.

    Casey N. Drury (1988), speeding 21 miles over the legal limit, guilty, $210 in court costs/fines to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

    Shelby L. Clements (1993), disregarding stop sign, guilty, $163 in court costs and fines paid.

    Johnathan E. Morris, 23, of Hempridge Road in Shelbyville, was cited Jan. 4 for failure to wear seat belts.

    McMillan Q. Ludwick, 18, of Loretta Drive, was cited Jan. 4 for failure to wear seat belts.

    Michael A. Bunk, 48, of Faith Lane in Springfield, was cited Jan. 5 for speeding 16 mph over the limit.

    Taylorsville Police citations from Jan. 3-4:

    On Jan. 3, Dakota S. Atcher, 20, of the 100 block of Wagon Trail Road in Taylorsville, was cited for possession of marijuana and buying/possessing drug paraphernalia.

    On Jan. 4, David K. Pollack Jr., of the 500 block of Cull Road in Mount Eden was cited for failure to register transfer of motor vehicle.

    The following cases were heard by Judge Linda Armstrong in Spencer District Court Dec. 28, 2012:

    Traffic:
    Larry Arnold Jr. (1984), speeding 13 miles over the legal limit, guilty, state traffic school, $143 court costs; failure to wear seat belts, guilty, $25 fine, all fines  and fees for both charges to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

    Austin T. Barrick (1994), improper flashing lights, guilty, $50 fine and $143 court costs to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

    Taylorsville Police Department arrests and citations issued Dec. 11 through Dec. 21:

    Joshua M. Waldridge, 34, of Miller Road, was cited Dec. 11 for speeding 16 mph over the limit.

    Garland K. Travis, 30, of Hickory Ridge Road, was cited Dec. 12 for no registration plates and operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license.

    Michael J. Smith, 52, of West Main Street, was served Dec. 13 with a Jefferson County District Court summons for menacing and harassment - physical contact - no injury.

    The following indictments were handed down by a Spencer County Grand Jury on Dec. 6, 2012:

    Count 1: On or about Aug. 16, 2012, in Spencer County, William R. Goodwin, 33, of the 3700 block of Kings Church Road, Taylorsville, committed the offense of operating a motor vehicle while his license was revoked or suspended for driving under the influence, third or subsequent offense, by operating a motor vehicle for at least a third time within a five-year period while his license was revoked or suspended for a violation of KRS 189A.010.
