The following cases were heard by Judge Donna Dutton in Spencer District Court Feb. 4, 2011:

Traffic:

Jennifer L. Sisco, speeding 10 miles over the limit, guilty, contempt of court, $25, $180 fine to be paid in installments.

Corry E. Adams, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security, first offense, guilty, $500 fine.

Amanda J. Arnold, speeding 14 miles over the limit, guilty, state traffic school and $143 court cost.

The following cases were heard in Spencer District Court January 11 by Judge David Hayes:

Misdemeanors:
Stanley Earl Watts Jr., fourth-degree assault with minor injury, amended to second-degree disorderly conduct, guilty; 30 days concurrent.

Robert M. Gnagie, possession of marijuana, guilty, 365 days conditionally discharged for 2 years.

Traffic:
Ryan P. Zinner, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security, first, guilty, $500 court cost, $450 conditionally discharged, Kentucky Alternative Program.

The following cases were heard in Spencer County District Court January 7, 2011, by Judge Donna Dutton:

Traffic:

Norma L. Stone, speeding 10 miles over the limit, state traffic school. $143 paid.

Ryan K. Bradley, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs/alcohol, second offense, seven days served, multiple offender program, 12 months suspended operator’s license. $878 paid.

Joseph Chesser, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, $663 to be paid in installments.

The following property transfers were recently collected at the Spencer County Clerk’s Office:

James P. Chinn and Angela A. Chinn, Taylorsville, to Leldon H. Lockart aka Leldon H. Lockart Jr. and Renee M. Lockart, Taylorsville, a 15.10 acre tract on Elk Creek Road, as described in deed book 238 page 111, $350,000.

Land Inc., Brandenburg, to Denise L. Epperson, Louisville, 10 acres known as tract 5 of the Smith-Snyder Farm Division, as described in deed book 238 page 119, $67,000 cash in hand.
