  • Property Transfers - June 26 Edition

    The following property transfers from March are recorded in the Spencer County Clerk’s office:

    On March 4, from Raymond T. Lewis and Kay E. Lewis, P.O. Box 667, Mount Washington, Michael D. Lewis and Michael D. Lewis, executor of the estate of Marvin R. Lewis, 2070 Louisville Road, Cox’s Creek, to Michael D. Lewis, 2070 Louisville Road, Cox’s Creek, a 4.87-acre tract, as described in deed book 252, page 331, $66,400 fair market value.

  • Taylorsville Police Citations - June 26 Edition

    The Taylorsville Police Department issued the following citations June 1 through June 17:

    Blake H. Thomas, 26, of Kenton Avenue in Louisville, was cited June 1 for speeding 15 mph over the limit.

    Joseph E. Long, 50, of Smithfield Road in Shelbyville, was cited June 1 for disregarding a stop sign.

    Christopher A. Harnden, 24, of the 100 block of Whitetail Drive, was cited June 1 for license to be in possession.

    Judge Matthew Eckert heard the following cases in Spencer District Court on May 31, 2013:

    Misdemeanor:
    Chagala Maximino Escribano (1983), creel and size limits for fish, guilty, $100 fine and court costs.

    Nancy L. Crenshaw (1967), giving officer false name or address, guilty, $100 fine and court costs.

    Bridgett R. Hoskins (1992), harassment no physical contact, guilty, $25 fine and court costs.
