The Honorable Judge Linda Armstrong presided over the following cases in District Court on January 16, 2009.

Traffic:

Jennifer C. Brinkley. Unauthorized parking in a handicapped zone. Pled guilty. $250 fine, $143 court costs.

Lisa N. Kendrick. Speeding 10 mph over the limit. Pled guilty. State traffic school. $143 court costs.

Leslie G. Zoeller. Speeding 15 mph over the limit. Pled guilty. State traffic school. $143 court costs.

Kentucky 4-H has impacted the lives of thousands of youths since its inception. As it reaches its 100th anniversary, current and former 4-H’ers will be celebrating the organization’s past, relishing in its present and anxiously anticipating its future. You can help 4-H celebrate this milestone by showing your support for the organization throughout 2009.

Chamber luncheon

The Chamber of Commerce lunch will be held tomorrow at noon. Taylorsville City Mayor Don Pay will be guest speaker.  On the way Cafe will be catering and the cost will be $6.00 per person.  Please RSVP.

Lenten fish fry

Lenten Friday night fish fry will be held every Friday through Lent from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church. All proceeds will go to charitable works in our community by the Knights of Columbus. All Saints Catholic Church is located at 410 Main Cross.
