The City of Taylorsville recently received its audit from Maddox and Associates out of Fort Thomas Kentucky.
According to the audit, the assets of the City of Taylorsville exceeded liabilities at June 30, 2014 by $21,656,608. Of this amount, the report states, $1,576,756 is unrestricted and used to meet the general government’s ongoing obligations. The city’s governmental funds reported a combined ending fund balance of $723,644, of which $584,594 is unassigned. According to the report, revenues exceeded expenditures in the general fund by $2,550.
