Having had the privilege of being able to help many survivors (more than a hundred) of childhood abuse, I’ve heard the many memories that were presented by the adults who have been able to, eventually, recover from the devastating effects of this type of horror.

In 2002, Lauren Collins was named Miss Spencer County Fair, creating a family tradition. Her mother (and Spencer Magnet employee) Susan Collins was named Miss Spencer County Fair in 1967.

Back in July 1992, the Spencer County Fair was in full swing. These three pictures were published in the July 15, 1992, edition of The Spencer Magnet.
 

Mount Eden Christian Church will feature the “Journeymen” during its 11 a.m. service on Sunday.  The church is located at 12441 Mount Eden Road in Mount Eden. The community is invited to attend.

More years ago than I care to remember, my wife and I were living in California and we took a trip to the Sequoia National Forest and then up to Yosemite.  Both of these are beautiful amazing places that I would recommend highly.  What I would not recommend is the route we took between the two.
