ANNIVERSARY: Shelburnes celebrate 50 years

Edwin and Lillie (Edwards) Shelburne will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 115 W. Main Street, in Taylorsville. Edwin and Lillie were married Dec. 21, 1961, at Shawnee Christian Church in Louisville by the Rev. Ivan Shelburne Jr. Edwin is a lifelong farmer. Lillie retired in 2007 from Bloomfield Water Company.  They have two daughters, Kim Stump and Joy Shouse, both of Taylorsville; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
