The following cases were heard by Judge Linda Armstrong in Spencer District Court on Nov. 16, 2012:

Traffic:
Martina Coto-Linarez (1988), speeding 15 miles over the legal limit, guilty, $173 fine; no operator’s/moped license, guilty, $50 fine, all fines and fees paid.

Stephen C. Duncan (1984), speeding 15 miles over the legal limit, guilty, $25 fine; failure to wear set belts, guilty, $25 fine.

Joshua F. Maddox (1988), operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, guilty, $20 fine and $143 court costs. All fines and fees to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Charles M. Mandl (1956), speeding 10 miles over the legal limit, guilty, $163 court costs; operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, amended to no license in possession, guilty, $20 fine. All fines and fees paid.

Winther G. Munoz (1978), following another vehicle too closely, guilty, $20 fine; no operator’s/moped license, guilty, $50 fine, $143 court costs. All fines and fees paid.

Benjamin G. Peterson (1987), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs first offense, guilty, $728 fine and $25 bond filing fee to be paid in installments./deferred payment, alcohol and drug education program, 30 days suspended operator’s license.

Rodney A. Poulter (1973), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs second offense, amended to first offense, guilty, $728 fine paid, 30 days suspended operator’s license, alohol and drug education program.

Jessica A. Stewart (1988), operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s  license, amended to no license in possession, guilty, $20 fine and $143 court costs to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Joseph R. Strother (1984), speeding 15 miles over the legal limit, guilty, state traffic school, $143 court costs and fines paid failure to produce insurance card,  amended to owner, no insurance, first offense, guilty, $500 fine, $400 conditionally discharged.

Alicia K. Whitcomb (1979), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs first offense, guilty, 30 days suspended operator’s license, $728 fine, alcohol and drug education program; failure to produce insurance card, amended to no insurance, first offense, guilty, $500 fine, $400 conditionally discharged. All fines/fees to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Misdemeanor:
Stephen C. Duncan (1984), alcohol intoxication in a public place, third or greater offense, guilty, $178 in fines and court costs and $25 bond filing to be paid.

Michael K. Foggy (1977), illegal take/pursue deer/wild turkey, guilty, $100 fine and $153 court costs paid, probate hunting rights through this season.

Evan T. Jewell (1963), cultivation of marijuana, five of more plants first offense, amended to less than five plants, guilty, sentenced to 12 months conditionally discharged for two years, $153 court costs, $2,500 to sheriff and fish and wildlife, all fines and fees to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Evan T. Jewell (1963), resident hunting/trapping without a license/permit, guilty, $100 fine, $153 court costs. All fines and fees to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Jesse R. Jewell (1989), cultivation of marijuana, five or more plants first offense, amended to less than five plants, guilty, sentenced to 12 months conditionally discharged for two years, $2,500 to be paid in sheriff and fish and wildlife, $153 court costs. Brandon C. Kuhn (1993), third-degree criminal trespassing, guilty, $100 fine and $153 court costs, to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

William E. Wilson (1976), fourth-degree assault domestic violence minor injury, guilty, sentenced to 10 days, $153 court costs and $25 bond filing fee. Fines and fees to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Coty L. Workman (1992), third-degree criminal trespassing, guilty, $100 fine and $153 court costs. All fines and fees to be paid in installments/deferred payment.
