In the thick of her own personal challenges, Spencer Countian Belinda Sheeley turned to journaling as a form of solace. Her journaling became a path to deepening her connection to God, and a tool to help her process loss.

Never in her wildest dreams did she expect that one day those journals would be at the heart of a book that she just published, on the anniversary of her son Joe’s passing.

“Finding the Joy While Still Feeling the Grief” is the name of her new book, and she describes it as her heart on paper.

Sheeley goes on to say, “Navigating grief is challenging to say the least. Following the loss of my son in March 2017, and my daughter in March 2018, life was so overwhelming, I wasn’t sure I’d see the end of it. But, with God by my side, I keep moving forward.”

Sheeley shares her journey from heartache to hope, navigating the loss of her beloved children with the unwavering support of her faith.

“If you have experienced the loss of a child, a loved one, or loss of something you loved, my book was written to help you remember you are not alone,” says Sheeley, lovingly.

Sheeley says her journey was one of resilience, faith, and finding joy amidst sorrow.
